Plugin Test Drive
Enhancement: Allow for one-step plugin "graduation" (4 posts)

When I try to fully activate a plugin without telling Plugin Test Drive to stop testing it first, activation fails with a "caused a fatal error" message.

If a plugin that PTD wants to test can't be tested because it is activated in WordPress, that plugin should be silently removed from the testing list, so WP can go through with activating the plugin.

I hope I've made sense. I'm rushing to write this before I have to go; let me know if clarification is needed and I'll get back to it in the next day or two.

I assume you tried to activate a tested plugin by using the bulk activation drop down (to activate multiple plugins at once)?
I did prevent activation for each tested plugin (the "activate" link is removed from tested plugins), and also stated in the notes that tested plugins should not be activated.
In the next version I will also deal with bulk activation attempts.
If I understand correctly, you would like to be able to perform bulk activation for tested plugins, where those plugins will be removed silently from test mode and also activated at the same time?

Ideally, yes, I would like to be able to check off plugins I've finished testing and fully activate them in bulk. But even a link like "Stop testing AND activate" for individual plugins being tested would help.

Very well, I'll see if I can add this to the next version.
