[Plugin: plugin] Gift Registry Plugin Suggestion (request)

The holidays have me thinking of a plugin that could help with a common situation I, and I suppose many others have this time of year. A Gift Registry Plugin. Here is the idea as it occurs to me thus far:

Members of a group of registered users can:

Create a gift wish list including:
• Name of gift item
• Approximate cost of gift item
• Local store where gift item may be purchased
• URL of product on a web store

See other group member’s gift lists with the ability to check off an item that they purchased. The list should either include only items still not purchased, or all items with strikethrough indicating that the item has already been acquired.

The individual who has a gift list should never be able to see what has been purchased but they should be able to remove items that they have received or no longer want.
