Hi pross,
Iam using both theme check and plugin check for my themes and plugins, I did added a couple of plugins from the wordpress directory ( like WP-PostRatings ). It generates some notices.
My query is : How should i go about testing these plugins, bcoz these have been accepted by wordpress and yet they have warnings, notices, info, recommendation?
Should i ignore these issues and go with my product or should i report this to plugin creators, after all i just used for my needs and didn'd do any customizations.
Image resizing scripts like timthumb( which was even discussed by matt ) shows warning.
Is plugin check a overkill or should we address all plugin issues which we have not developed?

Posted 6 months ago #If the issues stress you then I would report them to the plugin developer and they can take recommended action and issue and update.
