I am wanting my pinboard to be 4 wide and either 2 or 3 tall. Though there's plenty of room for the width, when I change the setting to 4 wide, it adds one more to the bottom row, but doesn't add a fourth column or fourth pin at the end of each rows....I've tried a 2x4 and a 3x4... Please help!

I've got the same issue.
It looks like the styles are hard coded into the plugin, and can't be over-ridden as they're written out inline when the plugin renders.
This really needs to be separated out into a CSS file so we can drop it in our theme folders and override the defaults without it breaking again after an upgrade.
Any chance of this?

A new version will be released soon, which moves the CSS to an external file. This allows for better customization of the css to fit your needs.
Hope this helps!
