• Pie-Register works pretty good for me just a few problems.

    What I assume is a warning at the top of the Pie-Register Control Panel that says;
    “Please put this code at the top of your wp-login.php otherwise the plugin won’t work properly.

    <?php
    session_start(); ?>

    I’ve done that, and the warning does not go away.

    The invitation codes show up in the dashboard which is cool, except they show up in the subscribers dashboard as well! Seems like a security breach to me if the site is truly by invitation only.

    I wish the invitation codes would delete after use.

    And finally, the custom email features are nice but it took a long time to figure out the correct settings to get them working. And, I still can’t get the %invitecode% replacement key to show up in the Admin notification email

    I tried WP-invites which works flawlesly, but does not have custom register fields or notification emails, or logo replacement – sigh!

    I’ve left questions on the authors home page with out response and I’ve seen my same complaints in forums from years ago. I’m thinking I may may be beating my head on the wall with out hope.

    Anyideas of other plugins to try?

    how to show plug in on user side like pie register

    I am getting a Parse Error.

    I even tried removing the <? php session_start();?> from the wp_login.php and put it at the en dof the wp-config page per someone else’s instructions. I STILL get the parse error.

    Now, I cannot get into the dashboard at all…on any acounts! Oh now! What’s a girl to do here?

    If you have any advise, please help. Thanks!

    @uragenius Maybe try to replace your wp files with new ones. Don’t forget to add your access info to the config one.

    My issue is that once someone register, the username field is empty so basically the plugin doesn’t work.
