Support » Plugins » [Plugin: Picasna] multiple albums on one page

  • Hi Igor,

I have noticed that for 2.5 months orso you have not answered any questions on your website anymore. Hopefully this is because of a holiday or sth and you keep on supporting your own work, because the plugin is actually pretty cool!

I would like to know how to get more than 1 album showing on the same page/post. This question has already been asked by a few people on your website. I am having the same problem as @coln (June 3rd, 2009). I have tried to get it going by placing each (link to an) album between <p>'s and that seems to work, but I think a solution with a couple of divs and/or an option for amount of columns would be great!

Also I don’t think it is a very good idea that you’re involving your server in the plugin process. Not only do a lot of people that run their WordPress site like to be independent, it also is better with an eye on possible future downtime.

My last point is that on some browsers the albums show (IE and Safari) and on some they don’t or only half way (FF), a bit more consistency across browsers would be appreciated 🙂

Anyways, plugin is great so far, definitely has the potential becoming perfect!

    Cheers,
    Piet

  • Multiple album support is actually super-easy. Just enter the new links, each on a new line. When displaying, it will automatically put them on the same line. See how mine works

Also, I don’t have any issues with this plugin at all, on any browser. In fact I would have to say it’s the easiest way to display any size albums and it looks great too.
