[Plugin: Picasa Image Express] Does this plugin inserting or embedding picasa images

I thought external image hosting picasa will serve bandwidth and storage space for my web hosting. But i noticed using this plugin, the images are uploaded in my own hosting server only. So does this plugin inserting or embedding picasa images?
