    Hi - just getting back from vacation.

    As a guess, your theme (or some other plugin) is adding http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.0(beta)/IE8.js

    This looks like it's an older version of some javascript intended to make versions of IE behave more like a standards based browser. It's possible that using a newer version of the IE support code would address the issue.

    To locate the culprit, try searching your wordpress php files for the IE8.js URL. If it's a plugin, try disabling it and retry the picasa plugin. If it's a theme, you could temporarily switch to a different theme to see if the problem goes away.

    @irth -
    Are you seeing errors in the server log? Any errors like the script error reported by jdubo79?

    Failures at this stage are a bit more unusual. What other plugins are installed? I'll look at adding more debug in this processing flow.

    @irth - something else I just noticed in your log; the parsing request messages appear twice which is not normal. I suspect you have a plugin or theme that is causing 'the_posts' filter to run twice. I doubt it's related but it is odd.

    The reasons I can think of that would cause the failure you report:

    1. No files were selected in Picasa when the upload button was clicked. Not sure if this is possible since I haven't been able to create this situation.

    2. A web server add-on like mod_security is installed that is examining the contents of the POST payload and it is manipulating the payload before it reaches WordPress. Most likely culprit.

    3. A WordPress plugin or theme is manipulating the contents of the POST payload before it reaches the plugin. Possible - need list of installed plugins (and theme) to rule out.

    4. The payload from your version of Picasa doesn't match the online documentation. I doubt this is the problem.
