[Plugin: PHPFreeChat] Admin Password confusion

Hello,

I have read all existing posts for this plug-in and could not find an answer to my situation.

I have entered key/value pairs on the pfcglobalconfig.class.php, but could not get the /identify to work all the time. (it did work once or twice) but the renumbering the server id, rehashing and refreshing left me dizzy. Reading the PFC forums i found an answer from Frumpy who suggested a tweak to phpfreechat.php and chat.html.tpl.php where the clients get a random name, and changed the default value of user from “” to “x”. Now i’m given a random name on entry, and can /nick my way to an admin listed in the globalconfig doc, and get ident failed errors.

Is there any one out there who can help me understand the admins arrays?
The key/values don’t seem to work all the time, and i’m not sure that existing user profiles in WP are 100% either.

Maybe i’m halfway between two different settings?

Running: WP 2.4.8 on Apache, PHP5, SVN-style, interfacing with Windows XP
