   Hey there, wanted to know the procedure to make a wordpress page link the latest forum posts from a phpbb forum existing in another server.

   G'day,

   Tick the box labelled "Enable Insecure Database Connection" and save. When the page reloads you will see extra options.

   I'm in the same situation.
   I have ticked the "Enable Insecure Database Connection"

   I have entered all the info it's asking, but somewhere I'm not doing it right because I get "Database Error. Connectivity to phpBB failed. See README for help".

   I have consulted the readme file, but I didn't find anything helpful there.
   I would be very glad if someone could help me.

   Hello,
   Have you confirmed that there's connectivity?

   From the CLI of your WordPress server can you connect to the DB...
   mysql -h SERVER
   where SERVER is the name or IP of your mysql server
