[Plugin: PHPBB Single Sign On] Errors but the Plugin is Working?

    Hi,

    I am encountering a simmilar issue to the one described here (Post).

    In my case however I am installing the plugin for the first time on a test site. After configuring the plugin as directed and changing the auth setting in PHPBB, everything seems to be working.

    However in WordPress Admin I am unable to set the “To WordPress from PHPBB” path, every time I try to set the path and auth type (to wpbb) it simply returns me to the same page with no settings changed. However the Auth Mode line of the table shows an Error and I still see “The phpBB Plugin is not activated now.”

    I am hoping to use this plugin on a production site but want to make sure that this “Error” message is not something to be worried about. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    I’m working with Amichai on this.

    We did a 2nd test install and got the same result. Everything *seems* to work EXCEPT that on the PHP BB Options page we still get the Auth mode error.

    We did have to use the method of changing auth mode to wpbb in the phpbb forums ACP.

    While it’s great that all is working, we’re concerned about rolling this into production on a phpbb forums that has over 5,000 registered users.

    Any advice/feedback/similar experience would be most appreciated.
