   I created a text widget after installing this plugin and I added the following code into the text widget:

   <?php the_tags(); ?>

   The function doesn't appear to be executing. Just wondering if I am doing something wrong. The widget download page does say that the plugin is compatible up to 2.7.

   Had a friend help me out and figured out I needed to place the following code within the text widget.

   <?php
   global $post;
   echo get_the_term_list($post->ID, 'post_tag', '<p>Tags: ', ', ', '</p>');
   ?>
