It seems that there is a limit to how many songs you can put in a playlist. After a while, the flash player doesn't show or play the files (it says : "undefined")
Can you help? Thank you...

Could you please give me a link to your site so I can check the playlist file generated? How many files did you add to the playlist?
I could successfully add approx. 50 media files to a single playlist without problems in the admin panel or playback.
If there is a limit, it's maybe from JW's FLV Media Player. My plugin does not contain any limitations.
Thanks so much for you reply.
Here is the link to the page where the player is :
http://www.damienluce.com/wordpress/?page_id=188
At the bottom of the playlist you'll see that the songs are called "undefined" and can't be played. I realized that these particular songs are listed on the second page of the file manager in the administration panel of pb-embedFlash. (it changes page after 17 files).
Any clue ?
Damien
Also, I know the player works with more files, because I've used it before (not with pb-embedFlash).
Is there something in the setting that I'm missing? It seems it can't read the file once it's not listed on the first page of the file manager.
Thanks

Please redownload the plugin and install the new version (1.5rc9.3). You can check if it's the new one by opening readme.txt.
There was a missing replacement while getting all media files from the database and assign them to the playlist requested. It stopped at 15, the default limitation for the media manager - instead of "null" for no limitation.
That solved my problem. Thank you so much for this great plugin, which handles accents (great for french users...) It would be wonderful if it could read rss feeds... But maybe it does, and i'm just another ignorant.

What RSS feeds should a flash plugin read/parse? oO
I mean display the episodes of a podcast automaticaly, just by reading the feed. For example, I have a dedicated category for my podcast (using podpress). Each post assigned to this category is a podcast episode. The feed is :
http://www.damienluce.com/wordpress/?feed=rss2&cat=9
It would be nice if the plugin could consider this as a playlist, and show the episodes without having to add them manually. All I would have to do would be to write the post, add the mp3 file using podpress, and it would be displayed in the flash player.
...
As you can see, I have no idea of what I'm talking about.

As of you are the first asking for such a feature and there is no other needing of it at this time, I'll add it to the end of "ToDo". I don't know if and when it will be integrated in pb-embedflash. It depends on other requested features and the time I can affort to write a parser for RSS feeds.
Take your time...
I've done some coding to this, but I'm not that far at the moment. The problem: I'm starting from zero in regard to parsing RSS feeds and I don't think that I've the time to continue it. A script like magpieRSS is too "fat" for this purpose... maybe I find a smaller one. Until then, I'm sorry to disappoint your!
