    Hello,

    Same problem for me.
    My WordPress server is in a private network, but can perform WordPress updates through a proxy.
    I guess Word2WordPress.exe tries to connect to their server (and perhaps runs into our company’s firewall ?).
    Anyway, even if the URL & Security key registration failed, the paste function seams to work.
    But but but … the French accents (and the tabs also) are garbled 🙁

    I am also experiencing the “Could not connect” problem. Which is too bad, because the video makes this look like a dream come true.

    I am having the same issue… After entering my URL and the password assigned in settings, I get the message “Could not connect…”

    Don’t work.
    I think, this is a fake plugin with backdoor.
