CSS Issue - .pmpro_checkout tr.active td (8 posts)

    Browser Inspector reports on "levels" page:

    .pmpro_checkout tr.active td {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFCC;
    }

    It says this is located on line 41 in the frontend.css however upon inspection with my editor, I do not see such an entry. I did a document wide search and still that color can not be found. The text in that particular table data = white and the background = light yellow.

    The line is 44:
    .pmpro_checkout tr.active td {background: #FFC; }

    Used the shorthand #FFC which is the same as #FFFFCC. Your inspector normalizes it.

    I try changing the color values with my editor. Trying to achieve contrast between the text and the background. The #FFC shows up in the inspector as a light yellow / #FFFFCC.

    Now that I just visited my site, the td background is black. Why is this? The td is still set to #FFC. I deactivated all plugins and still no impact, thinking that another plugin's css may be involved. Also clear cache, will perform more test.

    Caps, I can't really say without seeing the site and code. I'd like to keep my support here to issues with PMPro.

    Good luck figuring that out though.

    "I'd like to keep my support here to issues with PMPro."

    This is 100% about PMP's seemingly changing values to the table data's background color. I suspect another plugin. Will report back.

    The problem is after you have logged in, you get a yellow background for the td. If you are not logged in, all is good, black background with white text. This happens with other themes, however the background is white, text is white.

    So some background on what we are talking about and what is going on.

    PMPro has a "levels" page that shows all of the active membership levels on your site. They are shown in a table.

    If you are logged in and have a membership level, the table row for your current membership level gets a class "active" which highlights it yellow using the PMPro CSS.

    You can override this by adding something to your theme's CSS like:

    /* keep the active background black */
    .pmpro_checkout tr.active td {background: #000 !important; }

    This is related to PMPro for sure, but the answer is more of a CSS lesson than a bug fix, etc. Hopefully this helps you figure out what you are trying to do. Just saying that I try to keep the WP forums limited to "can PMPro do this" or "is this a bug" type questions. I answer the "how can I do this?" type questions at http://www.paidmembershipspro.com.
