   Next to you great pagelist plugin I am also using plugin WP-Columns which uses /---/ as shortcode to create columns on pages or posts.
   When I use [pagelist_ext show_content="1" strip_shortcodes="1"] I see the /---/ shortcodes in the excerpt. Does your pagelist plugin only check for shortcodes using []?

   Yes, Pagelist plugin only checks: [pagelist], [subpages], [pagelist_ext] in square brackets. It is the default WordPress behavior.
