Exactly the same problem on my site too.
Exactly the same!
Error message was: Flippingbook gallery doesn’t exist.
Trying to check the plugin, it completly disaappearded from my plugin listing as well. Can’t manually re-instal older version as I installed it through the WP interface 🙁
And like Comicbookgirl I also rely heavely on the page flip gallery.
I’ve submitted a ticket on site to the plugin makers,I’ll update you if they help!!
Same problem… hope that ll be fixed fast…
If you want to re-install the old plugin until they figure out the problem with the update you simply need to ftp to your wp site root and delete the the old plugin folder, then re-install old plugin through your wp panel and it will work, plus it should reconnect with you old settings and display your flip books again as if nothing had happened.
eg: ftp and drill to -> /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/page-flip-image-gallery <- delete this folder/directory (in bold)
Further to my previous reply it occurred to me that you may not have the original plugin, it’s here: http://www.comco.co.uk/download/
Thanks I’ll give it a go,was looking at the folder last night, didn’t think to delete it.
Hi,
Hull03,tried your suggestion,no joy!
Thanks anyway,I’ve gone back to hassling the plugin makers.
Looks like they’re busy!
Found the prior version at the plugin dev’s website (its the default download). It fixed the problem.
I think, now is fixed, the last update missed the pageflip.php file
Update now is fixed
I went to the plugin website http://pageflipgallery.com/start-download/, downloaded it and copied only the pagFlip.php file in the proper directory of my wordpress installation. It’s working now.
O.k,It is now O.K because I hadn’t fully deleted from the ftp of my site.I did delete from ftp files again & re-install.
However the plugin remains non-updated(? not a word!)& I’m not going to update it.
The plugin makers never got back to me.
I love this plugin so it’s all a bit of a shame!Hope y’all had better luck.
Oh,snap, plugin makers have just got back to me,guess they were busy!
O.K,resolved,back to loving plugin!(I hope)
