I have tried contacting the developer to no avail. Anyone knows what the download option in the navigation bar does? Supposedly one should be able to download the book for offline use but the only thing I was able to download was the xml file which is of no use to me.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

How frustrating it is not to be able to get answers to simple questions. The developer has zero customer support, Google searches won't return responses, and now this chilly forum. That sure makes me want to buy their software.
I am uninstalling page flip image gallery as I type. Good bye.

I just downloaded this plug-in; very cool; wish there was a little explanation on the huge list of options. I just figured out that the download feature works if you cut and paste the preview link into the options menu under "download enabled". Once the file is downloaded, you can open it offline with a browser with all your pics in it and the flipper ready to use. Not sure if that answers the question. Thanks.

Thank you very much. I've been waiting for an answer for 2 months. Would've been nice if the developer answered my messages but I appreciate your time to respond.
The download works fine now, but I was hoping for a PDF download, just the way the have it in the paid applications. This is helpful though. Thanks again.

Hey marioortner, can you verify if this actually works; I just realized it doesn't download everything (as in the pics); it download just the codes for the flipping animation.

Ok, so I'm guessing no one else really care about the download feature; in any case, this 'download' feature basically allows you to add any link; so in a way it works if all you want your viewers to do is to be able to download say a pdf version of the document. Then you just basically upload the pdf into your server and point the link there. I think we were at first thinking this download means a flash file with the flipping page incl. Again, a little comment from flipper themselves would help a lot. Thx.

Hi, it works! Cutting and pasting the preview link into the box of the download book properties will open your book that is stored in your hard drive rather than the server, meaning you can view your book offline.

Is it my imagination or the developer is responding to other questions in this blog but not this one. Come on, dude. It takes 1 minute to answer a question.
