[Plugin: Organize Series] Breaks Wp-Admin

    Noticed that none of the menus and pop-up dialogue worked. (Drop down menus on the left of wp-admin wouldn’t drop down, tags couldn’t be inserted in post add screen, add media buttons would do nothing.)

    Disabled Organize Series (version 2.3.3) and everything started working again.

    Organize Series 2.3.3 works fine on all the websites I manage that use it (over 4) and I haven’t experienced any of the symptoms you’ve reported.

    what version of PHP is running on your server? Organize Series requires PHP 5.2+

    If you have the correct PHP version running then it is possible there is a conflict with another plugin.

    Ugh I wish I could edit this post – I run 5.2. Disabling Organize Series brought back some of the functionality, but disabling Facebook Comments for WordPress brought it all back.

    I’m thinking there was some sort of conflict between the two. Either way, everything works again.

    Can you try it with Facebook Comments disabled and just Organize Series? I’d be interested in knowing if things still “break” for you in that scenario. It may also indicate that there is another plugin running on your site that is not only conflicting with Organize Series but also with Facebook Comments.

    Facebook Comments was recently updated and whatever was causing the problem has been fixed.
