[resolved] Update disabled my Eleganza theme nivo slider images (5 posts)

I just upgraded to OptionTree 2.0.1, then 2.0.3, and it's been causing problems with my Eleganza 1.1.0 theme.

When I first upgraded to 2.0.1, I refreshed my homepage and it was as if all the options were lost--the page had lost images, content, and styling. I managed to get my site back, I forget how, but one thing I noticed is that in the theme options all quotes had been prefixed with a backslash: \" (though it still read correctly on the front end).

I also noticed that "The OptionTree plugin is required for this theme to function properly. Install now." now appeared on the top of my WP admin pages. I do see how the theme file theme_pluginsnotice.php adds that notice, but that notice is a helpful reminder, so why is it appearing?

This notice remained after I installed the 2.0.3 update. I then went into Appearance > Theme Options > Homepage Nivo Slider, and I tried to add a slide. All seemed fine on the back end, but when I refreshed my homepage, the first image appeared for a split second then was gone. No more images in any of my slides anymore. I've tried deleting all the slides and adding one back, and same problem. I've cleared the cache, flushed my DNS, and disabled all other plugins, to no avail. Issue appears in at least Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and on the iPad (all latest versions). Clearly Javascript is hiding the image, but it wasn't doing that yesterday. What's going on?

I will email you my loginfo in case you want to go poking around. I have my settings backed up. Thank you!

The notice is because the author of that theme is testing for something that longer exists in this version of OptionTree. I'm looking into the other issue now.

It works! Well, not quite. So I've figured out the source of the problem. It occurs if and only if I put anything into the Link field of the "Studio side wall" slide. It doesn't matter if that slide is first or last, or what's in any other slide. Not a big deal, since I'll just leave it empty, but I'm curious what's causing this bug.

Also, I noticed that sometimes I'd fill in a description field, hit Save Changes, then the changes would appear on the front end (I think), but the description field in the back end would be blank. If I filled in the field again and hit Save, it would stuck the second time. Anyway, not a high priority, but wanted to let you know. Thanks for being so quick!

I figured out the missing data on the textarea I'll release 2.0.4 tomorrow afternoon along with any other bug fixes I do between now and then.
