Plugin Option: Deactivate & Delete (4 posts)

I've been struggling with this for a while now; I hate deactivating a plugin, letting the page reload, finding the plugin I have just deactivated and deleting it.

Is there any way that we can streamline this and add the option to remove and delete? At least in the bulk options?

Um - there is a batch option already. Just navigate to Plugins and tick the relevant check-boxes beside each plugin you want to delete and then select "Delete" from the Bulk Actions dropdown - followed by Apply. Job done!

The issue is that it is still a two step process for me. Select all plugins, deactivate then re-select then delete.

Unless my wp is different than yours, because the delete bulk function still requires the plugin to be deactivated first.

  4. Not at this time, for a couple reasons, but mostly to prevent you from accidentally shooting yourself in the foot :)
