[resolved] Conflict with get_custom_field() (3 posts)

This is a really common snippet of code that people usually have in their functions.php file, but since the plugin seems to load before the functions.php, it declares it first. The code should be changed to add a plugin-specific prefix to the function to avoid this conflict.

Yes, of course the user could rename their function in the functions.php file, but that requires recoding templates - and the appearance is that this plugin is broken out of the box.

Can you explain in a little more detail. Not sure I follow what you are saying and would be happy to correct anything that is an issue.

I think I understand. The next release will rename the function to om_get_custom_field.
