    Hi,

I just tried to install Onswipe and got the following error:

Warning: is_writable() [function.is-writable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/web636/html/:/var/www/web636/phptmp/:/var/www/web636/files/:/var/www/web636/atd/:/usr/share/php/) in /var/www/web636/html/nailpics/wp-content/plugins/onswipe/presscore/bootstrap.php on line 36

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    The same for me.

From what I can tell from further up in the forum, you have to deactivate several plugins to make Onswipe work.

    +1

it's because onswipe does not respect vhost-settings, where /tmp is not globally accessible, but only per user-tempdirs.

to avoid the message comment out lines 39 - 41 in file /wp-content/plugins/onswipe/presscore/bootstrap.php

A better fix for this by the author of course would be more appreciated.
