Online Backup for WordPress
[resolved] exclude directories? (8 posts)

I'm using Online Backup for WordPress 2.0.2 with WP 3.2.1.

I have some large sub-directories that I don't want included in the manual/generated full backup. Is there a way to exclude them?

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hi adopted3,

Currently there is no option for filesystem folder excludes.
We may have it available for version 2.1.0 which is due to be released soon.
If not, it will certainly be available in the version after.

    Regards,

    Jason.

Hi Jason, I have WordPress version 3.3.1 and am using Online Backup for WordPress 2.1.2.
In an earlier post you mentioned that the exclusion of sub-directories would be an available feature by now. I could not find the option to exclude sub-directories in the Online Backup Plugin. Was the feature added?

    Hi blocal,
2.1.0 didn't have it, so it will probably be in for 2.2.0.
The last number just means fixes and tweaks normally, whereas the middle number changing is when features are added.

    Hi blocal,

If you update to 2.2.0 you'll now be able to exclude individual folders and files in General a settings by typing the path to them.
