    Hi Guys,

really stupid question but I just want to put my mind at rest. about six months ago I lost my whole site when my domain host went down. My business would be crippled if that happened again!

I have just downloaded and installed this plugin. I've run the backup and it appears successful. (I have copied and pasted report below)

My question is this: Can I just check that if the site was ever deleted again, I could use this backup feature to fully restore the site again, so it felt just like it does now? The themes would be the same, it would appear the same, and I could login and make changes to the pages just as I can now? My site has over 200 pages, but is below the 100Mb limit.

To you guys this will appear an obvious question, but I just wanted to triple check that my understanding of what this product does is correct. I would rather find out I am wrong NOW than after a disaster!

Thanks so much for what appears to be a great plugin - esp for a technophobe like me!

    Cheers, harry.

    Hi Harry,

The answer is yes! You will be able to recover everything.

The backup file will contain two folders, "Database" and "Filesystem".
You just need to recreate the database in your host control panel, and your database user that you used for WordPress. If you don't know this - it'll be in Filesystem folder's wp-config.php file.
You will need to use phpMyAdmin or similar (most hosts have this in the control panel too) to restore the database file into the database again.
Then you just need to upload the filesystem contents (this will be your WordPress files, themes, plugins and media etc.)

Everything will be as it was.

    Jason.
