I have been using this plugin for a year without problems until recently. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that the popular posts appearing are not the ones that have the most views recorded by the WPP plugin.

I have the settings set up to show the 5 most popular posts of the last 7 days sorted by total page views. However, if I look at the WPP stats page (for the last 7 days), my top 5 are posts that have respectively 8, 8, 8, 9 and 371 views. Other posts have much more views recorded and don't appear in the top 5 most popular.

I updated to version 2.3.6 yesterday, but the problem occurred before.
I haven't added new plugins or made any changes to the site around the time I noticed this problem happening. It's however possible that the problem occurred around the time we updated to WordPress 3.5.2

    My blog url is http://www.teamblasecosplay.com
Thank you for reading this and let me know if you need more info.

    Hi genevieve_a,

What you're saying is that the popular posts list displayed on your blog is not the same as the one displayed on your Stats page?

    Yes, something like that.

Here is a screenshot of my last 7 days stats.

The top 5 popular posts (last 7 days) displayed on my blog are:
    1. L'Oréal Paris' True Match Roller
    2. Rimmel Lasting Finish 25h foundation
    3. Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream
    4. Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer
    5. Persona 3 Evoker Tutorial

As you can see, these 5 posts aren't the ones with the most views in the stats page. What's strange is that the stats page is supposed to be ordered by views, but it doesn't appear to be.

    Thanks for the screenshot!

Indeed, that looks odd. I'll take a look into it as soon as possible.
