Plugin not posting to Facebook on "Publish" (only after clicking "Update"…

    I have set the plugin up as it says in the instructions and it does eventually post to Facebook. The issue is that it does not post automatically when I click “Publish.” Instead, the bottom section for the plugin remains the same, as if I had not Published. (This even happens with the “Facebook Message” section filled in.)

    In order to have the plugin post to Fb I have to click “Update” after having clicked “Publish.” If not, it never posts to Fb.

    Plus, no matter how I set up the “Picture to share” and “Size of picture” options in the Settings menu, the picture is always my Web’s image set in the og:image Meta and it always covers the post horizontally (which I guess should either be the medium or large option).

    P.D. I’m using WP 3.8-alpha, could this be the issue?

    P.P.D. Perhaps I should point out that the WP posts in question do have attached images. The plugin has a code section that specifically checks for attached images. So why is it not finding any and reverting back to the Web’s og:image?
