Plugin not listed in search results (2 posts)

    I have added new wordpress plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/htmlpad but that is not displayed in search results for the plugin. Where could be the wrong?

    Sadly the search is not very good here. You can search for the exact name of something, and it still won't appear on the first page of a search. Whether you're searching Extend > Themes, Extend > Plugins, or these Support Forums, unfortunately, they all use the same Search, and it isn't good.

    Use Google instead.

    For example type this in Google: htmlpad site:wordpress.org/extend/

    Your result shows up perfectly,
    http://www.google.com/search?q=htmlpad+site%3Awordpress.org%2Fextend%2F&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
