   I see this is compatible with wpmu, but will it work with Buddypress, specifically the registration protection, as the Buddypress registration page is a different file to the default wpmu signup page.

   The Registration protection was optional in all version pre 3.0. After 3.0 this function was removed anyway.

   As for Buddypress, i don't no if NoSpamNX is compatible. But afaik Buddypress is just an "Add-On" for WordPress itself. So it *should* work.
