Nmedia MailChimp Widget
[resolved] Newest update's form/button looks different (6 posts)

I still have a couple problems with the latest version.

One is -- when I go to the Nmedia mailchimp widget menu in WordPress -- and click "these forms created *here*" -- I get a 404 message.

Another -- the widget results (form/button) don't look like they did before. The box for inputting the email address is too wide -- doesn't show a frame on the right-hand side frame (so it looks 3-sided).

And the space required for the widget is bigger than it used to be. (Was the phrase "email address" able to be put inside the fill-in box? That would make more room.)

And thanks again for this plugin!

I just removed the dead link.

you can set the field width using style/css option given in plugin.

    OK -- thanks.

Can you give me any help on how to set the field width using style/css option?

    Here's what I see --

    .nm_mc_input{width:250px;}

I tried using a different number (240, 230) but nothing changed on the form.

And did the form used to have the words "email address" inside the box? I seem to remember that.

And again -- thanks for your time.

The 404 message still shows up.

And is there any way to go back to using the previous version?

I might be imagining things -- but it seems to me that the form/button was smaller, with the words "email address" inside the fill-in box.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for your offer -- I use MailChimp, contacted them, and found that they have a widget that does the trick.
