[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Vertical images getting squished (2 posts)

Hello folks. I've been using NextGEN Gallery for 2 years now and it usually works perfectly. But recently (right after I automatically updated to the newest version of NGGallery) I've noticed a bug. My horizontal images look fine, but my vertical images are being squished to a smaller size, and not constraining to the proper width/height. When I click to view the image in a new window, it shows up as the correct size, but not in the lightbox. I've tried this with 3 different browsers and I'm noticing the same problem with all of them. Could this be an issue with the update? Maybe it got corrupted or something? Or is there another type of easy fix to this? Thanks for your help!

    Thanks again!

    Hi Mikereda

I have the exact same problem myself and in order to fix it, I came to the forums hoping to find answers. Unfortunately, I found more people having the same problem.

I have managed to fix it however!! It's an issue with the 'Lightbox 2' plug-in in my case.

Even thought there's no specific setting to control it in the 'NEXTGen Gallery's', there's a setting in the 'Lightbox 2' options to 'Shrink large images to fit smaller screens'. If you uncheck that box, it should show your images at full size when you open the thumbs.

    I hope this helps! :)
