   oks, I have WP2.3. and very old even beta version of the gallery. I was thinking to upgrade both WP, and Gallery... but wondering if this will cause any issues? also in new version I noticed URLs are handled in a bettwer way, wonder what effect will this have on existing blog?

   ?page=71&nggpage=13

   will be rewritten, but since google already indexed old URL, will I lose ranking?

   You should test the upgrade offline via a XAAMPP /WAMP installation...
