[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Updated NGG to 1.9.6, 'stop image stretch' hack no longer works

Hey peeps!

I updated NextGEN Gallery to 1.9.6, and tried to enable to hack that stops the forced stretching of portrait images (see this link) and it doesn’t seem to work anymore on Firefox (v15) or Safari (v5.1.7). However, it seems to work fine through Chrome. I didn’t try it on IE.

Does anyone know how I can force this to work across all browsers? The image should not be stretched out across the whole column.
