   How do I sort the gallery listing in Manage gallery screen by title rather than ID?

   Also, how do I search the forum for question related to a specific plugin?

   I am interested in this also. Getting harder to find/sort galleries.

   I figured out how to find forum posts for [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] ;)

   But, as the number of galleries increases, being able to sort the list by criteria other than the ID would be more and more helpful.

   One other helpful sort addition would be a column for the gallery (name or ID) in the search results.

   With a lot of images, some copied to several galleries, a search result will show several copies of the same image. (We have different captions in different galleries). A column with the gallery can visualize those multiple uses.

   Install plugin: NextGEN Gallery Search
   This allows you to search all your galleries in your admin area for easier sorting.

   I am also looking for a different way to sort images in a gallery. I am not using any titles for gallery images and need to be able to change the order of images periodically.

   I know you can change the order of "galleries" contained in an "album" by dragging and dropping. This would be a great addition for an individual gallery, rather than having to re-upload images in the correct order.

   Maybe there could be an "order" ID number that is changable much the way you can change the order in which your WordPress "pages" display in the navigation.

   Overall - great plugin!

   Well, I just found another post which answers my question so I thought I would post my own answer here!

   Open up the NexGen Gallery dropdown menu and click on "options". Once there, click on the "gallery" tab. About half way down the page there is a "Sort Order" section. Now, it says it applies to thumbnails, but it will changes the order that the images appear in slide shows also (which is what I was hoping to do).

   Click "custom order" and save the changes. Then go to to the Manage Galleries section, click on the gallery you want to change and a new button appears over the images for "sort gallery". This is where you can drag and drop the order of images.

   Brilliant, they did think of everything!

   My original question was about sorting the actual list of galleries, rather than sorting the order of images in a gallery.

   The Next-Gen Gallery Search plugin is no longer working for me. Perhaps an additional function in Next-Gen itself?

    If you go to

    >> Gallery >> Album >>

    Then enter in to an album, you can drag and drop the galleries to be in a specific order.
