[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshows not displaying in “Previous” page

I’m using Nextgen’s slideshow feature to display a small collection of photos in each blog posts and I have one problem and one question.

Problem:
The slideshows do not show up (even though their spacing is there) in “Previous Entries” page or chugradphoto.com/blog/page/2 and I don’t know where or how I can fix that. Seems like that will be a quick fix though. I had the same problem with some images in the sidebars but I was able to correct the URLs for those easily. Any ideas how to fix the Nextgen slideshow in this case?

Question:
I would like to have only the most recent slideshow/post play automatically and have the other ones play only when someone clicks “Play”. I have a limited number of posts per page but I don’t want to cause an overload. Any workarounds or other tools I can use to accomplish this?
