[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow not working after CDN configured

    Hi there,

    Have had the NextGen Slideshow Widget working well including with latest update.

    Have now installed W3 Total Cache WordPress Plugin and configured for a CDN (MaxCDN).

    The Slideshow Widget no longer functions, just a blank widget area with a spinning ‘wheel’. I have deleted and installed the widget again from scratch but still does not function.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    I have the exact same problem. When I turn off CDN the slideshow works. When I turn it back on the slide show stops. I’m using MaxnetCdN as well.

    I think there is something with nextgen that shouldn’t be in CDN.

    Still no answer to this one? For now I can’t use CDN

    Is there no response about this? I’m using W3 total cache and with the CDN function turned on in W3 total cache my slideshow stops working. Just a spinning wait cursor.

    I can’t believe as many people use these 2 plugins nobody else has had this problem.

    To the author, I really like your plugin and want to find a way to make it work with W3 total cache. If it works=Donation, Doesn’t work=No donation.

    Yeah, I wish Alex would answer this. I’ve donated to the plugin and think it’s lame that people just let these forums go unanswered.

    dorono- Unfortunately your solution is not a solution for me. I have to deactivate W3TC to get nextGEN slideshow to work.

    Frederick has solved this: Using line break removal for JavaScript caused the issue.

    Users who are experiencing this issue need to be aware that it is still necessary to include ‘wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf’ in the rejected files field under CDN/Advanced, if using CDN with NextGEN Gallery Slideshow.

    Still can’t get the Nextgen/options/general PicLens/CoolIris option to work, but that is not critical and probably just adds external bloat to the site.
