I have used this plugin with several WordPress installations. All of my IIS installations work. My Linux simulation on my office computer and my laptop all work. On my Linux installation on WebHost4Life it will not work. I have gone so far as to ask the provider for help and they turned on the .swf MIME which did not help. I have tried a fresh installation. The same results. I have disabled all plugins except NextGen Gallery. Nothing. I have cleared the cache in both Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer and looked at the site in Safari. Nothing.
All thumbnails show on demand. The gallery has picture files in it. The rotator cannot be made to work with any combination of settings.
