Hello,
We have been using NextGen gallery on our site for about a year now. Recently, either due to a WordPress update or a NextGen update we have lost the ability to preview singlepic images in our post. When we preview the post we get a single white bar with the name of the file (ex: screenshot_01.jpg). If we click on the bar, the image displays.
The only way to see the singlepic images in our post is to publish.
Any ideas?

I've had the same problem on one of my sites for several months and it's driving me mad!
It's only a problem with singlepic - everything else works fine. And it's only on one of my sites. Another, with the same theme, plugins, WP version etc. works fine.
Once the post is published, the image shows up fine. But change it back to a draft and it's back to a text placeholder.
I've tried absolutely everything I can think of.
Is anyone else getting this problem? Or better still, has anyone figured a fix?
