[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Similar script available for non-WP websites?

    Gotta say, I love the NextGen Gallery plugin. Relatively lightweight, fast, and so easy to incorporate into my pages.

    Unfortunately, I have a couple upcoming projects that’ll be coded/designed from scratch, i.e. no WordPress. Seems like all the PHP gallery scripts out there are ugly and/or filled with tons of features I have no need for. Can anyone recommend one similar to NGG – easy to integrate & customize, minimal distracting “extras”, etc?
