I proposed to my long-time girlfriend last week and have started to work on our wedding website:

    http://kariandmichael.com

I created three NextGEN galleries which are displayed in the sidebar as thumbnails. I would like to display one random thumbnail for each gallery but also have it setup so that when you click on a thumbnail, you have the ability to view the other pictures in that gallery by using the "next" link. Currently, I can display either all thumbnails in the gallery with the link or one thumbnail without the link-- is a hybrid solution possible?

I should also mention that I am a newbie but am really good at copying and pasting. ;-) Thank you in advance for your help. Alex, this plugin rocks!

The only way I can think of how to achieve this would be to package each gallery into an album and displaying each album in compact mode in the sidebar [album=ID,compact]
This way only the gallery view image would be displayed
see here at the end of the page:
