   This has not been working since upgrading to NextGEN Version 1.8 and upgrading to NGG 1.8.1 hasn't helped either. Nor has applying the WP upgrades since 3.1.2 (3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.2). Here's the issue...

   1. In the WP Admin, click on "Manage Gallery" in the left column.
   2. Instead of selecting a gallery from the list, type the image name in the top right and click "Search Images"
   3. This displays the image with fields to edit the image info. All good so far.
   4. HOWEVER, after making any edits and clicking the "Save Changes" button, the resultant page title becomes "Search results for “”" (nothing), the image list becomes "No entries found" and the changes are not saved.

   The failure in final step #4 above is the issue. Previously, this "Search Images" feature was VERY helpful in being able to navigate to specific images directly without having to go thru the galleries first, especially since I have a LOT of galleries and albums to scroll thru.

   Please address this as soon as you can so this plugin can go from "just" "Awesome" back up to "Super-Awesome". And thanks for creating and maintaining it in the first place!!

   Hi Alex: I'm at the latest NGG (1.8.3) and sadly the issue I outlined above still persists... Is it just on my end, or can you still confirm & reproduce?

   Still isn't working, WordPress 3.2.1 + NGG 1.8.3. Maybe it's my browser... FireFox 7 on MacOSX 10.4.11, though this was happening previously in FF6 as well. Any other complaints from FireFox users?

   Also, the columns under "Manage Galleries" have been messed up for a few versions now... http://www.zoinksgraphics.com/images/Picture23.png

   And finally, are there any plans to limit the number of words displayed in the Description column under "Manage Galleries"? My descriptions are quite long, and it's difficult to navigate when it displays the entire thing.

   Just applied the 1.8.4 upgrade. Now applying changes after searching images finally applies, correctly resulting in "Update successful" and revised content. Thanks!

   However, the other two issues I've brought up still persist, so I'm opening a separate thread on them...
