[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Removing album title from album page (2 posts)

    Hi everyone,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me to figure this one out. I've got NextGen plugin setup and working with 1 Album and 3 Galleries in it. The idea is to have the 3 Galleries listed one under the other and add a simple description. So I figured I would just leave the Album title empty and it should work..

    Unfortunately the plugin is still showing the title, even though it is empty. I tried altering the HTML code in nextgen-gallery/view/album-extended.php, basically removing the part I believed to be the "Album title". That didn't work either because of the structure of the plugin, it reuses the CSS for gallery titles from the album title.

    I hope that someone can help me to find a solution to this problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    Petr

    PS: Here is a picture with an example of what i mean. http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/2664/problemog.jpg

    I've found the solution to this problem. Not the most neat, but it works for me.

    To fix:
    - Lookup file:album-extend.php in view folder.
    - Change:
    <?php foreach ($galleries as $gallery) : ?>
    into
    <?php foreach (array_slice($galleries,1) as $gallery) : ?>

    And you're all set, the album title will not show anymore. What this does is tell the plugin to skip the first "gallery", which is actually the album title.

    If someone can do this in a more sophisticated way, please post.. my PHP skills are below novice.

    O.T.: Not really active forum this is.. (compared to other CMS forums)
