When I upload a zip file fullof images my server extracts the files and creates thumbnails file. the only problem is that it doesnt give the Public: Read permission to the files. Therefor they are not readable by anyone surfing our site. Is this a Server side issue or a Nextgen Issue?

email from my server admin --->

I don't think zip files have permissions -- if they did you could look
for a setting in the zip program you use to create the archive.

The wordpress plugin should ideally fix the permissions after
unzipping, or give some appropriate option to the unzip program.

Hm, maybe there is a config file that you can make, so the unzip
program on the server will make everything readable by default.

I don't have time to look this second but what's the name of the module?
