[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Problem with image Alt & Title Text / Description

    I have been using nextgen for a while and I cannot remember having this problem before. I have created a new gallery, uploaded some images and then went on to change the Alt & Title Text / Description. For the first few this worked fine and by that I mean, it saved the changed Alt & Title Text / Description. I save every few images, just in case something happens.

    After about 10 images or so I could change the Alt & Title Text / Description and got no error when saving, but the changes were not actually saved. Instead the original Alt & Title Text / Description remained.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    I now have this issue with two different galleries. I can change the text and description and when I click save I get a message saying “Update successful”. However, the changes do not save.

    I have tried to change one image at a time or all, tick the image (box next to the ID no) or not … nothing.

    Can someone help me with this?

    Is there no-one out there who can help me? Even give me an idea where to maybe look?

    This kind of thing is usually another plugin conflicting. Try deactivating other plugins until it starts working again.

    I know the WP-Calendar plugin conflicts with NGG.

    I tried that and disabled all plugins apart from NGG and wordtube … still did not work.

    I am not sure when it last worked, as I don’t always add a description.

    What version of NextGen are you using? Have you reverted back to an earlier version if you have updated recently?

    Also, are you getting any errors on the page?

    I use WP 3.0.1 and NGG 1.6.1 … I do not get any errors when dealing with NGG (or WP in total for that matter).

    I tend to always go with the latest version of both WP and NGG and this has been a problem in at least the current and previous version. And to answer the question, no, I have not reverted back to an older version.
