• I have created a four-image slideshow here:

    http://www.theborrowdalestory.co.uk/literature-and-art/

In Firefox and Chrome (but not in IE) a phantom fifth image appears. The slide show opens with a brief view of one image; then the phantom blank; then the sequence of four actual images; then the blank…and so on.

The code in the Page is /[slideshow id=10 w=450 h=350]/. I have double-checked that each of the images is this size: there is obviously something funny about the sizes, since the framing isn’t working properly.

Can anyone help? I have created a number of these slideshows and the same is happening on all of them. It’s very frustrating!

  • I had exactly the same problem and it turned out the problem was that I had entered the shortcode in bold!! Try removing any styles.
