   When any user type other than Administrator adds images to a gallery, they are uploaded, but the thumbnail process fails:

   You do not have the correct permission

   Is reported for each image.

   This happens regardless of which user owns the gallery.

   The user in question is an 'Editor' and the settings for Roles in NGG are all set to 'Editor', except Main Overview and Change Options

   Any ideas?

   Are you uploading via the flash uploader ? What is the exact message which you receive ?

   Hi Alex,

   Yes it was the flash uploader, the exact message is:

   You do not have the correct permission

   It appears once for each image in the upload.

   Thanks for your help. I'll try the fix posted.

   Hi Alex - Unfortunately the fix did not work, still getting the

   "You do not have the correct permission"

   error when :

   - uploading images / flash or no flash upload
   - creating new thumbs for images already uploaded

   When you upload as editor a image to the wp core gallery, does it work ?

   Yes, it creates the thumbnail when uploading to the core gallery.

   Sorry, then I have no idea. I checked it here with author & editor, no problem to upload and add images. Check the behaviour if you delete the line :
   

   // if nonce is not correct it returns -1
   check_ajax_referer( "ngg-ajax" );

   Unfortunately that didn't work either.

   No matter what, always getting the same error message:

   "You do not have the correct permission"

   This happens also if I select 'Resize Images' or 'Add Watermark' as well.

   As soon as I make the user an Administrator all works fine.

   Any more suggestions greatly appreciated.
