• WP 3.0.4 – NGG 1.7.2
Forgive my lack of anything resembling real PHP skills; I tried google.

I can give more detail/code if needed. I’m trying to link (page using customer gallery template to page using custom caption template) to an anchor name within a gallery. I’ve got it working great without pagination (via template customizations and the ngg_custom_fields plugin to define the URL where I put the ngg shortcode,) but I’d like to be able to do it with pagination on too.

It’s probably not as simple as I want it to be, but how do I figure out what page a picture will be on when pagination is turned on? Can anyone show/tell me what the outputs of the $pagination variable are, and what php file it is defined in? Maybe it’s different if AJAX pagination is turned on – I’ve currently turned it off. Thanx!

  • Hard to get, you are right. You need to dig deeper in nggfunctions.php and look there into function nggCreateGallery(), at line 288ff the array will be cut and the pagination will be created…

hope this helps out a bit, lot of brain work
