I posted this in themes but it is truly a plugin problem.
If I display an excerpt of a post rather that the content, I get page links at the bottom of the post. These are the same links that I would get if I showed the full content.
Any idea why they show up and how can I remove them?

I'm sorry what do you mean by "page links" ?
Do you mean 1 | 2 | 3 ... like that?
You can probably remove or change the way your excerpts show in your index.php file in your theme folder.
