    Hi,

I'm running the latest wordpress and nextgen gallery.

Via the gallery option, you can create a new page for the gallery, so you would get: http://www.cobrapit.be/fotos/fuiven/trancefusion-2010/ instead of http://www.cobrapit.be/nggallery/page-372/album-2/gallery-294 .

Now the page get's created without a problem. However, when looking at the album it self, it's using the nggallery/page..blablal link instead of the correct page link fotos/fuiven/blabla..

Does anyone else experience this problem?

    Hi The_cobra666,

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution yet?

    Hey,

I found it. Just go to Gallery settings and untick the checkbox:
Deactivate gallery page link: The album will not link to a gallery subpage. The gallery is shown on the same page.

    Okay, here's how it works:

If you want to UNCHECK "The album will not link to a gallery subpage" option, you need to go to Manage Galleries and open the gallery and add a subpage and assign that gallery to that page. The gallery will not actually display on that page, but clicking the gallery in the album link will open that page. If you have NOT set a page in Manage Galleries, then nothing happens when you click the Gallery.

If you CHECK "The album will not link to a gallery subpage," the gallery will display on the same page rather than open the page specified in Manage Galleries. However, as others have observed, there is not a "back to album" link, though there are some blog posts on how to do this, such as http://www.calvinshub.com/2010/04/how-to-add-a-back-to-album-link-in-nextgen-gallery/ - read comments.
