Hello I am new to WordPress in general and to NextGEN Gallery specifically. After installing the NextGEN plug-in to WordPress 2.7... every time I click Add Images nothing happens except it goes to a section where there are no options. All the other buttons work except Add Images. Any ideas??

example 1 | example 2 | example 3I have outlined three screenshots above to show that the Plug-in is installed into my custom theme... After re-installing and activating the NextGEN plug-in I am able to create an album but then the "Add Gallery / Images" and "Manage Gallery" just show blank pages no dialog boxes or upload forms as was viewable before adding the original gallery.
I created a number of custom pages in the site and I was wondering if one of them specifically my page-gallery.php (page) could be conflicting with functions within the NextGEN gallery.
My set-up is WordPress 2.7.1 and NextGEN Gallery 1.2.1 please I would like to launch the site ASAP... Thanking you all in advance for your assistance.

I have the similar issue.I can create new gallery and add some photos.
BUT!!! I cant add photos to existing not empty callery!!!
I have "white screen" (blank page) after "Add Gallery / Images" => "Upload Images"
or after "Manage Gallery" => "Scan Foldef for new image"If gallery folder is empty I have correct message like "Directory /home/.../wp-content/gallery/my-gallery contains no pictures"

Posted 3 years ago #I've had some strange experiences with the admin of upload images in NextGen Gallery and found it was a compatibility issue with wptouch iphone theme 1.8.9.1. Once I deactivated that plugin the admiin of nextgen worked with no problems.
I'm not saying that your situation is a compatibility issue, but it might be worth a look.
